Our corporate social and environmental activities
Launched in 2019, this initiative builds on our ongoing charitable efforts by supporting the local communities of our employees and the wider Calnex community. Calnex encourages employees to take two days per year during working hours to volunteer in local community initiatives. This encouragement has led to a number of great causes being supported by our team, including tree planting, painting a local youth centre, litter picking, and creating food parcels in partnership with food banks.
The goal of this programme is to provide dedicated time during the working week, ensuring every employee has the opportunity to contribute to causes that matter to them and their communities.
Calnex holds a strong commitment to giving back and being employee-focused, which is why we donate to employee-nominated charities and local community events across the world. By supporting organisations and funding causes that are meaningful to our employees and their communities, we foster a culture of care and engagement that extends beyond the workplace, creating positive change both locally and globally.

Calnex has a dedicated group of employees (the Green Team) who collaborate to identify impactful volunteering opportunities, environmental initiatives, social events, and charitable donations across all our regions. By bringing together diverse perspectives from within the company, the Green Team ensures our efforts are meaningful, locally relevant, and aligned with Calnex’s commitment to sustainability and community support. Their work helps us drive positive change both within our operations and in the communities where we live and work.
